3 Women. 1 Van. 3,000 Miles. 1,000,000 Memories

Posted by on

After months of planning, countless sleepless nights up hand-making our aroma jewelry, we finally hit the road at 6am on Monday June 20th for an adventure of a lifetime.

We packed our entire heart and soul into one van, typed in Salt Lake City Utah into our GPS, and began the 3,000 mile journey to the Young Living Convention. We knew it would be fun, but we had no idea it would be LIFE CHANGING.

First stop - Santa Fe New Mexico.
We got in pretty late and were exhausted from our 9.5 hour trek, but that didn't stop us from going out and exploring! We were astonished at the culture and pride from the locals (and not to mention the absolutely breathtaking views). After a nice dinner in downtown Santa Fe, we headed back to our hotel on the edge of cliff and fell asleep immediately. We had just 6 hours to sleep.

Second stop - Wilson Arch
6am we were awake again, and ready for the second half of our trip. Music blaring, we sang songs and danced the entire 11 hour drive. We passed through Colorado, and then into Utah. Suddenly, a beautiful arch appeared to our right. We had to pull over. Armed with only yoga pants and flip flops we decided we just HAD to climb up. Halfway up, we realized 'this mayyyyy not be a good idea in flip flops' but we couldn't give up!  Once reaching the top, fighting for breath, we were in complete awe of God's creation. We sat in silence, soaking in every ounce of beauty, realizing what a beautiful gift we had been given. Then it was back to business. We scooted our way down, and got back to our journey!

We had to stop to take a photo!

How Amazing!

Flip flops can't stop us!

Well worth it!

Next, Salt Lake City Utah
YAY! We made it! Our Independent Merchandiser, Pat Fabulous (yes that's her REAL name) flew in from her month-long adventure running a yoga retreat in Hawaii, and met us at the house we rented in Salt Lake. It came with a rooftop patio overlooking the mountains, and we were fortunate enough to arrive just in time to see the sunset. After showers, dancing, and sharing stories, it was time to get some rest. We had a big day coming up!

The drive to Salt Lake was absolutely breathtaking!

No alarm clocks were needed the morning of the vendor event! On just 6 hours of sleep we were up by 4am, headed to the event and began building our display. We were so excited on how our booth turned out and we thank everyone who came and had a blast with us! We laughed, we danced, we even added new members of our team!

Our Pop-up Boutique was a huge hit!

Our booth had some great deals!

Happy customers!

Men love aroma jewelry too!

The drive back was just as exciting! We stopped every chance we could to soak up the beauty of the west. We can't wait to go back!!
